The Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora reminds amateur anglers that, in accordance with paragraph 3 of part 4 of chapter 6 of the Rules of Amateur Fishing, it is prohibited for citizens to be present in fishing grounds or on adjacent territories within a distance of up to one kilometre from the shoreline of fishing grounds with prohibited fishing gear and (or) fish, the catching of which is prohibited in the given area and at this time, or whose weight exceeds the norms established in paragraph 11 of these Rules, without documents confirming the legality of possession of the fish, or to move (transport) such gear and (or) fish.
Citizens shall bear responsibility for this offence in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Belarus, namely part 3 of article 16.25 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Belarus.
