With the onset of autumn, a new life begins for pupils and teachers, entering a new cycle as children grow up, adults gain experience and life wisdom, and everyone looks forward with hope.
Saturday at Starolyadenskaya Secondary School was particularly busy and bustling, but these were joyful concerns – the new academic year was beginning. Children with bouquets of flowers, individually, in pairs, and in cheerful groups, hurried to the schoolyard.
This year, the school has received a significant influx of pupils; over 20 pupils will be transferring to Staroye Ladno after the Zabarovskaya Secondary School was disbanded.
The school has also welcomed new first-graders. Although this year's first grade is small, with only four pupils. Timofey Kantributs, Alyona Krasilova, Karina Tsarova, and Elvira Oryakhina put on their school uniforms for the first time. Their first teacher is Alena Vladimirovna Maleeva, an experienced educator who has been working at the school for over 20 years.
The ceremonial assembly took place in the main school building. Pupils, teachers, and parents gathered here. Many warm words and congratulations were spoken, pupils recited poems, and adults recalled how they once stood just like this, feeling nervous yet supported by their parents.
After the official part, the children went to their classrooms. The first-graders needed to get to know their classmates and teacher better.
The school is well-prepared for the new academic year, thanks in no small part to the teaching staff led by Director Lyudmila Vasyuk. Fresh paint on the floors, new furniture, and updated teaching materials are signs of the imminent start of studies.
At twelve o'clock, the children went home. Of course, learning can sometimes be difficult, but at the same time, nothing can replace the joy of discovery and the happiness of friendship.
