Svetlana Sheveleva, Deputy Head of the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the district executive committee, addressed the attendees, outlining the key aspects of the Address by the President of the Republic of Belarus, A. Lukashenko, to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
Following Svetlana Alexandrovna's speech, the employees of the District Department for Emergency Situations had the opportunity to ask questions of interest to representatives from various fields in an open dialogue format.
The attendees were interested in the topic of landscaping and infrastructure development in the Lepel district, and whether new facilities are planned for construction.
As Mikhail Leonidovich noted, streets and vacant territories of the town have been assigned to enterprises, institutions, and organisations for order restoration, landscaping, and clean-up work. Public areas, as well as socio-cultural facilities, were covered during the district and national clean-up days and other events.
This year, three sections of roads in the town will be repaired. Work is already underway at the intersection of Voykova and Ulyanka streets, and will then continue along Voykova Street near the dental clinic and on a section of Kalinin Street, near the intersection with Shkolnaya Street. Pothole repairs and road grading will be carried out throughout the town.
In the current year, a 40-apartment building at 8b Sovetskaya Street has been commissioned, a 60-apartment building is under construction in the village of Borovka, and a 40-apartment building will also be commissioned this year at 38v Sovetskaya Street.
In the coming years, it is planned to commission a 32-apartment residential building in the village of Domzheritsy, a 40-apartment building at the intersection of Voykova and M. Gorky streets in Lepel, and a 100-apartment building behind the "Domashniy" shop. Thus, the task set by the Head of State to resolve the housing issues of large families will be fulfilled.
In addition, current repairs of the bus station will be carried out, and design and estimate documentation is already being developed. The design and estimate documentation for the construction of a kindergarten for up to 250 children in the area of the "Domashniy" store, and for the creation of "schools of the future" in Zaslonovo and Borovka, are at the development stage.
This year, Lepel Central District Hospital acquired three vehicles and opened a new X-ray room equipped with digital equipment. Images are displayed on the local network, and many doctors can view them at their workstations. This year, the acquisition of a new high-class ultrasound machine is also planned.
The improvement of the sports ground at Secondary School No. 3 with an advanced surface is planned.
