A Br200 thousand denomination banknote will be put into circulation in Belarus on March 12 of the current year. This decision is contained in Resolution No. 31 of the Board of the National Bank of Belarus dated January 31, 2012.
"To issue into circulation from March 12, 2012, a banknote of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus of the 2000 sample with a denomination of 200,000 rubles," the resolution states.
To prevent counterfeiting, information on the appearance of the Br200 thousand banknote is kept strictly confidential.-0-
