The National Bank of Belarus is issuing a Br200 thousand banknote into circulation today, the BELTA correspondent was informed by the Information Department of the National Bank. The relevant decision is contained in the Resolution of the Board of the National Bank of Belarus No. 31 of 31 January 2012. "To issue a banknote of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus of the 2000 model with a face value of 200,000 rubles into circulation from 12 March 2012," the document states. A presentation of the new banknote will be held at the National Bank today. To prevent counterfeiting, information about the appearance of the Br200 thousand banknote is kept strictly confidential.
