Hunters often ask themselves: how not to get lost in the forest. This is especially true when hunting in an unfamiliar or new location. For a long time, people relied on basic orientation skills and a compass. However, we are already in the 21st century, and modern navigation tools allow for hunting with greater enjoyment. They also enable precise marking of locations in the forest (e.g., the spot where game was taken) or finding out the location of dogs.

What modern navigation tools does the electronics market offer us? All devices can be broadly divided into 3 types:
1. Professional tourist navigators, for example, Garmin has such a series. Among the advantages, it is worth noting their good performance in harsh conditions. The disadvantages are often outdated maps, as well as a high cost.
2. Standard, universal navigators. The only advantage of such devices is their low price, but they are completely unsuitable for hunting.
3. Phones or tablets with the Android operating system. This class of devices, in my opinion, is ideally suited for hunting in our conditions.
