As part of the republican campaign "Safe Holidays", Lepel rescuers conducted preventive measures for children from school camps to remind them of the most important life safety rules.
The employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reminded the children of safety rules at home and outdoors. They explained how to behave correctly during thunderstorms and hot weather, and what consequences games with matches and lighters can lead to.– If a fire breaks out in the house – do not panic! Go outside immediately and report what happened to the rescuers by calling 101 or 112, – the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees taught the children.
In a playful way, the boys and girls practiced the algorithm for calling emergency services and the procedure for evacuation from a dangerous zone. There were also riddles, puzzles, and contests where everyone could show their abilities.
The representatives of the district emergency situations department paid special attention to the rules of conduct on water bodies, explaining to the children how dangerous fooling around in the water is. They also warned that it is strictly forbidden to go to the river or lake without adults.
− Water bodies always remain a zone of increased attention. Remember, you cannot be near water alone without adults. Do not swim beyond the buoys, do not frolic in the water if you swim poorly, be sure to wear armbands, a life jacket or a ring, – the propaganda inspector addressed the children.
No less interesting for the schoolchildren was an excursion to the fire station, where the children could get acquainted with the rescuer profession more closely. The boys and girls were shown the equipment and vehicles used by the Ministry of Emergency Situations employees in eliminating various emergency situations. The schoolchildren gladly sat in the cabin of a fire truck, tried on fire fighting gear, and took memorable photos.
In conclusion, the children received a lot of positive emotions and replenished their knowledge in the field of safety.
