On the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission, a meeting was held on December 4 between the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan, Gennady Akhramovich, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of that country, Jeyhun Bayramov, the press service of the Belarusian foreign ministry informed a BELTA correspondent.
"The parties discussed the full spectrum of Belarusian-Azerbaijani cooperation issues, noted the high level of interaction between the two countries, and emphasized the importance of its further expansion after the global pandemic is over," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
Gennady Akhramovich expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for supporting Belarus in the international arena. Jeyhun Bayramov, in turn, thanked the Belarusian diplomat for his work in Azerbaijan and wished him further success.
