Belarus and Kazakhstan will sign a cooperation roadmap for 2019-2020 in September. This issue was discussed by the Ambassador of Belarus to Kazakhstan, Anatoly Nichkasov, who is completing his diplomatic mission in this country, with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Bakytzhan Sagintayev, and his First Deputy, Askar Mamin, BELTA was informed by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"The parties noted their readiness to hold the 14th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation in Brest on September 12-13 and to adopt the cooperation roadmap for 2019-2020," the department reported.
The meeting discussed the development of trade and economic relations between the countries, noted the positive trend in the growth of mutual trade volume in recent years, and expressed mutual interest in intensifying cooperation in the field of high technologies and investment activities.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the agreement on socio-economic cooperation until 2026, signed on November 29, 2017, in Minsk.
