If you see a child near the roadway, reduce your speed and be prepared to stop at any moment; in courtyards, choose a minimum speed – a small pedestrian may appear from behind a car, tree, or building.
Pedestrians must move along sidewalks or pedestrian paths, and in their absence – along the shoulders;
- when moving in the dark or in conditions of poor visibility, pedestrians must be visible using retroreflective elements; - pedestrians must cross the roadway at pedestrian crossings; - at unregulated pedestrian crossings, pedestrians may enter the roadway after assessing the distance to approaching vehicles, their speed, and ensuring that the crossing will be safe for them.
