Over 1.5 thousand vehicles have used the marking service at "Bremino Group" terminals in the first half of the year, the company reported.
"Despite the relatively short period of operation of our transport and logistics centers (TLC "Bruzhgi" - 3 years, "Orsha" - 1 year, "Berestovitsa" - half a year), over 1.5 thousand vehicles were marked in them from January to June. The same number used the marking service for the entire 2019 (a net increase of over 140% compared to 2018). Therefore, we expect the market for this service to grow by the end of 2020, especially considering the introduction of mandatory marking of certain groups of goods in the Russian Federation," specialists noted.
"Goods marking is one of the priority areas of activity. Significant experience has already been gained in marking footwear, fur coats, food products, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Currently, the mechanism for marking tires, light industry goods, perfumery and cosmetic products, dairy products, and cameras is being developed," the company added.
Today, a seminar dedicated to the opportunities, investment potential, and development prospects of the multimodal complex was held in the special economic zone (SEZ) "Bremino-Orsha". The event was attended by the management of the SEZ "Vitebsk" administration, SEZ "Mogilev", the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Association of International Road Carriers "BAMAP", the Association of International Freight Forwarders and Logistics "BAME", the management of "Bremino Group" company, as well as over 30 representatives of major participants in foreign economic activity.
The attention of the participants was drawn to the services provided by the company in the field of industrial, customs, warehouse logistics, and goods marking within the SEZ. Company specialists conducted an introductory tour of the SEZ's infrastructure facilities, where foreign economic activity participants were able to familiarize themselves with, among other things, the mechanism for marking various groups of goods.
The significant work carried out on the construction of the multimodal logistics complex in a relatively short period of time was noted by Alexander Soloshchev, Deputy General Director of the Association of International Road Carriers "BAMAP".
According to him, the SEZ site is of great interest to international road carriers. "The unique location, special preferential regime, wide range of logistics services provided, the possibility of transshipment and consolidation of cargo delivered by various modes of transport, ensure optimal conditions for rapid cargo handling with reduced time and financial costs. The construction of such facilities allows our country to occupy high positions in the logistics efficiency indicators rating," emphasized Alexander Soloshchev.
The seminar participants also discussed the practical aspects of cargo clearance within the SEZ, the further implementation of joint projects, and agreed to hold a seminar in the near future with leading international road carriers, logisticians, and freight forwarders.
The possibility of using the potential of the "Bremeno-Orsha" SEZ for the logistics servicing of commodity flows within the Eurasian Economic Union aroused significant interest.
