Due to deteriorating weather conditions, the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Vitebsk region recommends that drivers replace their tires in advance.
Winter tires provide better grip on the road surface in low ambient temperatures, as well as ensure good vehicle handling and shorten braking distance.In conditions of low temperatures, summer tires "harden" and cease to provide adequate grip on the road. With sudden changes in speed and direction of movement, the risk of skidding increases.
The State Automobile Inspectorate also reminds drivers of the need to switch to a calmer and more measured driving style. Observe speed limits, maintain the necessary distance and lateral clearance, and refrain from sudden maneuvers and braking.
