"The main departments of justice of regional executive committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee will be holding an event for free legal consultations for Great Patriotic War veterans from April 25 to 29. The event is dedicated to the 71st anniversary of the Great Victory," said Olga Murashkovskaya.
The press secretary added that on May 5, from 11:00 to 13:00, veterans will be able to receive free consultations at the Ministry of Justice itself, located at 10 Kollektornya Street. The initiative will be supported by the Belarusian Notary Chamber and the Republican Bar Association. Specialists will be ready to answer questions regarding the compulsory enforcement of court decisions and other enforcement documents, as well as to clarify the intricacies of civil, housing, labor, family, and land legislation.
Furthermore, veterans can leave a preliminary request for legal advisory assistance, with the possibility of a lawyer visiting their home, by calling 8 (017) 200 84 03 or 8 (017) 200 95 68. In 2015, 21 Great Patriotic War veterans utilized the home consultation service, including 2 residents of the capital.
