Each region of the country has its own programme of events planned, including the mandatory honouring of mothers with many children at receptions in regional and city administrations. "The Week will be filled with bright, memorable events, the aim of which is to express the highest appreciation to mothers for their noble work, and to unite the efforts of the entire society in enhancing the prestige of motherhood," the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection noted.
Educational events, round tables, gift-giving ceremonies, concerts, and performances will be held.
On October 12, a specialised exhibition "Motherhood and Childhood" will open in the capital. This will be a platform concentrating all necessary goods for mothers and babies, as well as useful advice and consultations, master classes, contests, and entertainment.
