On October 27, Vitebsk / Olga Bogacheva - BELTA /. An unusual hairdressing salon has opened in Vitebsk today: cats and dogs are expected here as clients, as reported to BELTA correspondent by Mikhail Maksimov, Director of OAO "Mir uslug plus". OAO "Mir uslug plus", one of the largest state-owned enterprises in the region for providing household services, is mastering a new line of business. The beauty salon for domestic pets is located on Moskovsky Prospekt. Two groomers have undergone special training in providing hairdressing services for domestic animals at one of the similar private establishments in Minsk. Pets can not only be washed, trimmed, and have their hair styled, but also dressed up: the hairdressing salon sells costumes, sweaters, pyjamas, dresses, and bows. A visit to the hairdressing salon will cost lovers of glamorous cats and dogs from Br100,000 to Br200,000. The duration of the procedures is on average 2.5-3.5 hours and depends on the size of the animal and its coat. The owner will be in a separate room during this time. The groomer's safety depends on their skill, talent, and ability to establish contact with the animal. According to Mikhail Maksimov, the new service offered to Vitebsk residents will find consumers, as its emergence is due to demand. "One of the private hairdressing salons for animals in Minsk receives up to 300-400 inquiries annually from Vitebsk residents to its website," stated Mikhail Maksimov. OAO "Mir uslug plus" includes 33 structural divisions: 18 hairdressing salons, 5 photo studios, a portrait and ceramic workshop, 7 rental outlets, 2 household service divisions for the sale of funeral accessories, custom tailoring, cutting and repair of clothing, sharpening of cutting tools, and book and document binding.-0-
