In accordance with the Regulation on the State Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora under the President of the Republic of Belarus, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 269 of 15.07.2019.

In accordance with the Regulation on the State Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora under the President of the Republic of Belarus, approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 269 of 15.07.2019.

Officials of the State Inspectorate, within their competence and in compliance with the requirements established by law, are entitled to:

 inspect territories, premises and other possible places of storage of tools and means for obtaining natural resources, as well as the natural resources themselves and relevant documents;

 use technical means, including equipment for sound and video recording, photography, xerocopying, document scanning devices, hidden image identifiers;

verify identity documents and documents confirming authority from representatives of the audited entity;

verify documents for the right to use objects of fauna and flora, lands, forest fund, to carry out fishing and hunting, to conduct fishing and hunting management, to carry out activities for the reproduction and protection of the forest fund, as well as identity documents of citizens, if there is data indicating that they have committed crimes or administrative offenses;

during control measures, stop vehicles and floating means, vessels, inspect belongings, vehicles and floating means, vessels, tools and means used to affect natural resources, and other items, as well as conduct personal searches of citizens;

request and receive, in accordance with the legislation, written and oral explanations from employees of state bodies, other legal entities, and other citizens within the established timeframe, as well as necessary documents (their copies), including in electronic form, and other information on issues arising during control measures or necessary for their implementation;

carry out the placement, including short-term, of movable property (vessels, vehicles, etc.) within the boundaries of water protection zones or coastal strips without formalizing title documents and permits for land plots.
