On May 11, Vitebsk / Diana Kurilo - BELTA /. "Slavianski Bazaar" has minted a non-exchangeable coin, said Rodion Bass, General Director of the "Vitebsk" Cultural Center and Director of the Festival Directorate, at a press conference today, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
The coin with the denomination of "21 Bazaar" is a souvenir to commemorate the XXI International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk". Only 500 such coins have been issued. They will be available for purchase at the sales points of the "Vitebsk" Cultural Center. The cost of one such souvenir will be Br80 thousand.
Rodion Bass jokingly noted that this is how the festival increases its profitability. But there is some truth in every joke: all proceeds from the sale of "21 Bazaar" coins will go to the festival's income.
It is worth noting that the festival has had its own printing house for a long time. Every year it issues "vasilki" - a kind of festival money, which is received by festival guests. This festival currency unit is accepted for payment by trade organizations and catering establishments that have concluded an agreement with the festival directorate for servicing guests. -0-
