18 February, Dyatlovo /Elena Stasyukevich - BELTA/. Unconvincing decisions by authorities lead to public misunderstanding and disputes. This opinion was expressed to a BELTA correspondent by Valery Mitskevich, Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration. Today, he held a reception for citizens at the Dyatlovo District Executive Committee. According to Valery Mitskevich, representatives of authorities often create confusion through their actions, which causes public disagreement. This happens when one decision is made, then another. Cases are either terminated or resumed. This means that an unconvincing conclusion was initially reached on the problem. An example of such omissions could be the victim's disagreement with the termination of a criminal case against the perpetrator of a road traffic accident in which a child was disabled. As it turned out, law enforcement agencies initially performed poorly, and today it is practically impossible to reconstruct the incident. The result is numerous appeals from the victims. The case is either initiated or terminated, and people cannot get the truth: who is right, who is wrong. Here is a second example. A resident of Dyatlovo came to the reception regarding a dispute over the division of a land plot. The dispute has been ongoing for over 8 years. Initially, the plot was divided into equal shares. Then the local authorities made another decision, possibly objective (the case will be considered in court), but the cancellation of the decision caused confusion. A total of 22 residents from the town and district were registered for the reception with the Deputy Head of the President Administration at the Dyatlovo District Executive Committee. -0-
