Presidential scholarships of Belarus for 2025 have been awarded to 49 postgraduate students conducting dissertation research at educational and scientific organisations in the fields of technical, medical, chemical, economic, pedagogical and other sciences on topics that are relevant and in demand for the respective industries. This is stipulated by the decree signed by the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko on January 10, as reported to BELTA by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Such scholarships have been awarded by the President annually since 2007 based on the results of an open competition. They are designed to stimulate the attraction and retention of young researchers in the field of science, support their creative initiative, develop domestic scientific schools, and train highly qualified scientific personnel.
