On April 25 of this year, officers of the Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora detained a citizen from Chashniki, who illegally hunted a wild boar in the hunting grounds of the Chashniki District Organisation of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen (RGOO "BHOOR") near the village of Dubintsy, Chashniki District.
On April 25 of this year, officers of the Lepel Inter-district Inspectorate for the Protection of Fauna and Flora detained a citizen from Chashniki, who illegally hunted a wild boar in the hunting grounds of the Chashniki District Organisation of the Belarusian Society of Hunters and Fishermen (RGOO "BHOOR") near the village of Dubintsy, Chashniki District. The damage caused to the environment amounted to 120 base units, totalling 3240 roubles. On April 29, 2020, the Chashniki District Department of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus initiated a criminal case against this citizen under Part 2 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. The hunter faces punishment in the form of deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities with a fine, or arrest with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities, or restriction of liberty for a term of up to two years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities, or deprivation of liberty for a term of up to three years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities.
