There are no changes planned for this year's admission campaign, stated the Minister of Education Igor Karpovich today during a meeting with the staff of Gymnasium No. 10 in Grodno, as reported by a BELTA correspondent.
"We will observe how the situation develops and make a considered decision. But it can be said right away that graduates do not need to worry: there will be no changes to the format of the admission campaign. As for how to make it safe and create optimal conditions – this issue is currently being worked on," said Igor Karpovich.
According to him, a lot of disinformation is appearing on the internet and in the media on this topic. "They write: let's change the format of entrance examinations, let's cancel them altogether and conduct admissions based on certificate scores, and so on. This would probably be incorrect and create unequal conditions," the minister noted.
