The Head of State noted that Minsk and Sofia are brought closer not only by a rich positive experience of developing bilateral partnership in various fields. "Centuries-old cultural and human ties are maintained between our countries, reinforced by the Orthodox faith, the mentality of the peoples, traditions of friendliness and mutual respect," the congratulatory message reads. "I am confident that even in modern circumstances, we will actively expand these relations for the benefit of the citizens of both states and for security in Europe."

Alexander Lukashenko wished Rumen Radev good health and successful continuation of his political career, and the citizens of Bulgaria – peaceful skies, harmony, and stability.
