The event conducted by the State Automobile Inspectorate (GAI) to monitor drivers' compliance with speed limits, entering the oncoming traffic lane, and violating overtaking rules, titled "Speed!", will commence on August 20, 2019, and will continue until August 30, 2019.

The main causes of fatalities remain vehicle collisions resulting from drivers exceeding speed limits, entering oncoming lanes, and violating overtaking rules. Thus, in January-July of the current year, 26 recorded road traffic accidents occurred within these categories, resulting in 13 fatalities and 26 injuries of varying severity.

During this period, traffic police officers will monitor drivers' compliance with speed limits, rules regarding entering oncoming lanes, and overtaking regulations.
