On January 4, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. A standard for the provision of public catering facilities for employees of organizations has been introduced in Belarus. This is stipulated by Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 1190, the Ministry of Trade informed BelTA correspondent. The resolution comes into force on March 29, 2013.
"The system of state social standards for the provision of services to the population of the republic has been supplemented with a standard for the provision of public catering facilities for employees of organizations," the Ministry of Trade reported. "This standard provides for the mandatory presence of a public catering facility (canteen, buffet, snack bar, cafe, and others) for a workforce of more than 200 people in the maximum shift (excluding employees whose work is mobile)."
If the workforce in the maximum shift is less than 200 people, one of the following forms of catering organization should be applied: delivery of meals according to employee orders, organization of employee catering at public catering facilities within walking distance, and/or catering services provided by organizations specializing in such services, as well as the application of other forms of service, including the equipping of dining rooms.
In addition, the resolution provides for the cooperative use of public catering facilities by a group of organizations (at their place of business). -0-
