25 August, Minsk /BELTA/. A new unified electronic ticket sales system has been launched in Belarus. This was reported to BELTA correspondent by Olga Kissel, marketing specialist at ZAO "Kvitki Bel". The unified resource, the website kvitki.by, contains all information about events and activities taking place not only in Belarus but also abroad (festivals, concerts, theatre performances, cinema, sports events, etc.). This is an electronic, centralized, real-time ticket distribution system in Minsk. The Belarusian company adopted experience from its Lithuanian counterparts. In addition, a similar ticket sales system has proven itself in Ukraine. According to statistics, about 50% of tickets are sold through electronic systems. Customers have the opportunity to choose their desired seat and book a ticket online, after reviewing the seating plan of the hall and the number of remaining tickets. A ticket can be obtained by presenting the booking code at sales points. Ticket delivery by courier service is also available. A unified hotline operates. In Belarus, since September 2009, the international company Ticketpro has already been operating a unified electronic ticket sales system. -0-
