Scammers have started mass messaging subscribers of major Telegram channels.
The scenario is always the same:They write that the "channel is closed" due to loss of moderation access;
They offer to "subscribe to the new channel";
They automatically add the person to a fake group, where everything looks convincing – avatar, name, even "participants" (in reality, these are bots);
Then they send a link to follow – this is what leads to account theft.
After that, everything is simple: the victim is asked for a confirmation code, access to the account is intercepted, and then it is used for new attacks.
Remember:
Do not follow unfamiliar links;
Do not enter codes and data on third-party pages;
An official channel never disappears "suddenly" – authors always issue warnings before redirection.
Protect your accounts – scammers are becoming increasingly inventive.
