The Chief Physician, Ilya Shendalesov, spoke about the new X-ray diagnostic complex "Uniexpert 2 plus ADANI". The feature of the new equipment is that its digital operation reduces radiation exposure for patients and doctors. The office has three workstations. If necessary, X-ray images can be transmitted via the computer network, both within the hospital and via the internet to other medical institutions. In addition, X-rays of all parts of the body can be taken in one office – both standing and lying down. The deputy noted the advantages of the new X-ray diagnostic complex. Sometimes a doctor has to make an urgent decision. And it is thanks to such equipment that it is possible to identify problems and abnormalities in organs, make an accurate diagnosis, determine the treatment plan and type, and monitor its success. Ilya Yuryevich spoke about the work of the endoscopy room, equipped with modern equipment. Previously, this procedure was unpleasant for many patients. Now, everything is different. The patient is given intravenous anesthesia – they fall asleep and do not feel the colonoscopy procedure.
A constructive dialogue took place between the deputy and the Chief Physician of the healthcare institution "Lepel Central Regional Hospital", during which further directions for improving medical care for the population were identified.
