A new bridge has opened in the Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve in the area of the Brody tract. This information is posted on the website of the State Nature Protection Institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve", as reported by BELTA.

The bridge connects the Borisov district of Minsk Region and the Dokshytsy district of Vitebsk Region. Its construction was carried out by the 188th Guards Novgorod Red Banner Engineering Brigade, awarded the Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov II class (Mogilev). The facility is of high importance for the local population, as it connects the nearby villages of Brody and Kraitsy. For the reserve's research staff, the bridge provides the shortest route to the wild European bison herd. For visitors to the State Nature Protection Institution, it offers another entry point into the reserve.

Previously, a bridge existed at this location, but due to safety reasons, it was only used as a pedestrian crossing.
