May 3, Glubokoye /Alena Tikhonova - BELTA/. A new meat processing facility at the Glubokoye meat processing plant is scheduled for commissioning by the end of the current year. This was announced to a BELTA correspondent by Anatoly Duk, Director of OJSC "Glubokoye meat processing plant".
Currently, the enterprise is implementing an investment project for the construction of a meat processing building with a total funding of Br120 billion. The production will be located in the premises of a building not completed during the Soviet era. Construction work resumed here in 2013. "The implementation of this investment project will allow us to expand the range of products manufactured, deepen the degree of raw material processing, and produce high value-added products," said the director, emphasizing that the commissioning of the new facility will significantly increase the enterprise's competitiveness.
Anatoly Duk noted that currently, at full capacity utilization, the share of finished products in the total production volume is about 25%. With the commissioning of the new facility, this figure will double. "New premises will be equipped with modern high-tech equipment for the production of sausages and semi-finished products. The range of the latter will significantly expand, and their share in the production volume will increase from 20% to 30%," the director stressed.
The Glubokoye meat processing plant was founded in 1936 and became a joint-stock company in 1997. The enterprise specializes in the production of sausages, dry-cured products, meat, and meat semi-finished products.-0-
