When calculating funds to be transferred out of turn to repay wage arrears, employers must reserve Br385.56 per employee. This standard has been applied in Belarus since September 10, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection informed BELTA.
In accordance with Decree No. 483 of November 27, 1995, "On Ensuring Timely Payment of Wages," employers with wage payment arrears shall have amounts deducted on a non-disputed basis, equivalent to 1.5 times the subsistence minimum budget for the working-age population, adjusted for the consumer price index for each employee, taking into account the coefficients for increasing the wage rates of workers by technological types of work, production, and economic sectors.
The subsistence minimum budget for the working-age population, established at August 2019 prices, is Br257.04. Accordingly, increased by one and a half times, it will amount to Br385.56.-0-
