According to him, the enterprise is developing, and production areas are emerging. A new workshop is currently under construction. "Builders have started work at the plant, and this year we plan to open a new locksmith and mechanical workshop. It will be a consolidated site, incorporating the electrical equipment, aviation armament, and equipment repair sections. The workshop will be large, with some areas being three-story," noted Pavel Sluchak.

The enterprise's modernization is proceeding in accordance with Decree No. 506 "On the Development of the Orsha District". Since the plant came under state management, the process of repairing Mi-24 helicopters for the needs of the Ministry of Defence of Belarus has intensified. "The plant operates in strict accordance with its development program, and all financial, economic, and social parameters were met last year. The enterprise operated profitably and with profitability. Production volumes have significantly increased, and most importantly, wages have nearly doubled," added the General Director.

The Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant fulfills both domestic orders and orders for partners abroad, including countries in Africa and Asia. The enterprise is secured with work for the current year.

Today, the plant hosted the acceptance of a repaired Mi-24 by the Belarusian military. Since July 2018, three helicopters for the Armed Forces of Belarus have passed through the enterprise's workshop, with a fourth one next in line. After major overhaul, the equipment is delivered with a practically renewed resource. Externally, the helicopters have been updated in a new painting booth.

Aviation Service Engineer, Major Dmitry Chopko, noted that the quality of military equipment repair is satisfactory and is improving with each instance. "Equipment acceptance is a very large volume of work, carried out by six specialists, each in their own area of expertise," said the officer.

The crew has an introductory flight ahead. Tomorrow, the Mi-24 is scheduled to land at the Machulishchy airfield near Minsk.
