17 July, Minsk /BELTA/. The Ministry of Economy of Belarus has begun preparing a decree to expand the areas of state financial support for the export activities of small businesses. This was reported to a BELTA correspondent by the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Economy. The draft document is aimed at improving state support measures for small businesses that produce and (or) sell goods (works, services) intended for export. It is also designed to increase the effectiveness of export activities in the republic. Currently, state financial support in Belarus is provided within the framework of Decree No. 255 of 21 May 2009 "On Certain Measures of State Support for Small Entrepreneurship". It is planned to improve the financing system and ensure effective state support for small businesses. For this purpose, the experience of the Russian Federation in providing this type of support to export-oriented small businesses will be considered. The Ministry of Economy also invites all organisations, regardless of ownership, and republican government bodies to participate in the preparation of the draft decree. They can send their proposals with justifications to the Ministry of Economy by e-mail: d-business@main.gov.by or by official mail: dbusiness@mailgov.by with the subject line "Proposals for Decree No. 255".-0-
