17 January, Vitebsk /Olga Bogacheva - BELTA/. The new law on citizens' and legal entities' appeals will increase officials' responsibility in working with people. This opinion was expressed to a BELTA correspondent by the Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of Belarus, Vladimir Tsalko. In Vitebsk, the head of the department is participating in the final board meeting of the regional committee for natural resources and environmental protection. With the entry into force of the new law, any citizen will be able to send their appeal to the authorities via e-mail. Officials, in turn, will be obliged to consider it within the established deadlines with the same diligence as written statements. "Of course, this will increase responsibility, require additional time, but we must first and foremost think about the people, and this is part of our work," emphasized Vladimir Tsalko, noting that, on the whole, it is a progressive document that will allow people to resolve emerging issues in a form convenient for them. On the other hand, the document will provide an opportunity to correctly deal with so-called professional complainants. "Unfortunately, there are such people: they have been coming for years and trying to challenge an issue on which a certain answer has already been received from a number of specialists," the minister added.-0-
