A beautiful residential microdistrict with 60- and 40-apartment houses has been built in recent years in Lepel on both sides of Chuykov Street. It is evident that Lepel is increasingly acquiring the features of a European city, where the necessary conditions for people's work and life have been created.

The development of the microdistrict continues. Two large construction cranes and scaffolding of another 60-apartment house attract attention.

-- We are finishing the bricklaying of the fourth floor and have started the construction of the fifth, -- reported the foreman of the bricklayers' team of PMK-75, Anatoly Builov. – Bricklayers Mikhail Staynov, Igor Paznyak, Sergey Pshonka, Andrey Zalatukhin, Vasily Frolov and others are distinguished by their diligence. A total of forty people from my team are employed here, and the remaining fifteen are building houses in Starye Lyadno and fitting out the basements of two 40-apartment residential buildings under construction in Borovka.

Three teams of carpenters, led by Sergey Mashara, Viktor Misnik, and Petr Lobkis, as well as a team of painters and plasterers headed by Leonard Starovoytova, are also involved in our project. Floor screeds are being concreted, walls and slopes are being plastered, window and door installation, metal balcony railings, and other urgent construction work will soon begin.

-- How much longer will the bricklayers have to work here?
-- We will be working on this house throughout September, and in October – on other sites, and first of all on housing construction in Borovka.
