Young trainees of the taekwondo section of the Belarusian Public Association "Taekwondo", who are successfully mastering combat skills under coach Ina Popova, have once again brought glory to the Lepel region at the twelfth Christmas Cup held in Minsk. In addition to the participants from Lepel, 270 young athletes from Minsk, Vitebsk, and Svetlogorsk took part in the competition.

The bouts of the young athletes took place in the athletics arena of the Olympic Reserve College.

Thus, in the "Tul" exercise complex, in the age category from six to seven years, Pasha Sushko took second place, and Alina Kuzmina took third place in the same category. In the age category from 12 to 14 years, Alina Aufyeronok won, and Nastya Tukhto took third place in the same age category.

Our athletes also distinguished themselves in the "Sparring" exercise complex. In the age category from five to six years (21 kilograms), Arseniy Shamanidi was awarded second place, and Vanya Zhuk took first place in the same age category (plus 24 kilograms). In the category from seven to eight years, weighing 23 kilograms, Pasha Sushko took second place. Alina Kuzmina took first place in "Sparring" (weight category 24 kilograms). Vika Urban took second place in the age category from six to seven years (weight 24 kilograms), and Egor Khatskevich became the winner in the category from seven to eight years (plus 29 kilograms).

Snezhana Telepen (age category from nine to ten years, weight 31 kilograms), Alina Aufyeronok (plus 45 kilograms), and Ksyusha Galuza (age category from 12 to 14 years, weight 38 kilograms) took second place in the "Sparring" exercise complex.

Eight-year-old Sasha Maksimov also performed excellently at the competition, demonstrating excellent combat technique in the "Tul" and "Sparring" exercise complexes.

The young athletes brought back Certificates of Honour, medals, participation certificates, and many new vivid impressions.
