Over 2,000 students, including around 170 first-graders, have returned to the classrooms of Secondary School No. 46 named after I. Bagramyan. They are particularly fortunate: the school is rapidly improving, making the learning process even more engaging and effective, and providing students with new opportunities to unlock their potential and bring their boldest projects and ideas to life. One of the upgrades for September is a new computer science and engineering technologies classroom, created with the support of the enterprise "Energokomplekt".

Now, it is equipped with everything needed to develop the digital and engineering competencies that are in high demand in today's job market: 15 new powerful computers, a laptop, a multimedia projector, and a printer.

The 11th "A" grade, which has a specialised profile group, was the first to test the new computer equipment, even before the opening ceremony. Computer science and mathematics play a special role in the lives of these students.

– This is a long-awaited event for the eleventh-graders, – comments Ivan Dvoryankin, a future graduate. – I think learning will go faster, there will be fewer "lags," and the programs will run correctly. We had problems with this before. I occasionally do 3D modelling and video editing, which requires quite powerful equipment. I don't have the opportunity to do this at home because my own computer isn't very powerful. Now I can do it at school.

With the technical upgrade of the classroom, Ivan and his classmates will have many more opportunities and successes. Here, they will be able to work on engineering projects and master graphic design. The eleventh-grader participates in 3D modelling competitions, creates social videos and book trailers, and wins prizes at regional and national levels. He has already chosen a university and a specialty. Next autumn, he sees himself as a student at Belarusian State University, studying computer modelling and web application development. The entry scores are high, but he believes it is "quite possible" to get into a state-funded place, especially with the school's new technical capabilities for preparation, he assesses his chances.

– The upgrade of the computer science classroom provides many opportunities for our overall development – it helps with our studies, – shares eleventh-grader Anastasia Belyaeva. – As I am a philologist, I need technology to watch educational videos and search for information.

The powerful computers and other equipment in this classroom were purchased with sponsorship funds. The enterprise "Energokomplekt" presented the institution with a gift certificate worth 30,000 rubles. In the spring, the school signed a cooperation agreement with the enterprise as part of the work of an engineering group for tenth-graders, focusing on advanced mathematics and computer science studies.

"Energokomplekt" deals with high technologies on a daily basis, producing goods highly valued in Belarus and abroad. The production at "Energokomplekt" involves modern equipment, complex technological processes, and high demands on personnel.

– Behind every success of ours stand people – engineers, technologists, programmers, and workers. It is their ideas and knowledge that transform metal into cables, into solutions that drive forward the energy, industry, and transport sectors. Today, we are not only investing in the development of production but also taking a step towards future engineers. With these computers, students will be able to create 3D models, invent, and design, feeling like true professionals while still at school, – emphasized Alesya Ivanova, Deputy General Director for Human Resources at "Energokomplekt".

She urged the students not to postpone their dreams, not to fear difficulties, and to try new things, adding that the enterprise always welcomes talented and passionate individuals. Alesya Ivanova presented the school with the book "Our President" on behalf of the enterprise.

The school principal, Valentina Shamshura, described the enterprise's gift – the updated engineering classroom – as an example of ideal interaction between business and education.

– A great deal has been accomplished over the 15 years of the school's operation. Each year, the creative potential and educational level of our students grow, and new achievements emerge. Last year, two students became winners of the republican Olympiad, we graduated 11 medalists, and we plan to increase this number, – noted Valentina Shamshura. – It is gratifying that the management of the production association, including the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Sergey Podgaysky, not only focuses on the development of their enterprise but also invests in the youth, supporting them and creating all conditions for the realization of their goals and the development of their talents.

The new classroom was opened on Knowledge Day, prior to the ceremonial assembly. The first bell not only signaled the start of lessons but also the beginning of new prospects.
