When dealing with citizens' appeals, it is necessary to delve deeply into the problem. This opinion was expressed today to journalists by the Aide to the President – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Anatoly Linevich, following a personal reception of citizens in Vitebsk.

Anatoly Linevich often personally visits the site to thoroughly understand the problems. "This is necessary to see the full real picture, and then to be able to explain the response to the applicant," he said. This working practice fully justifies itself. For example, today a resident of the Vitebsk district came to the reception with a repeated question about the approach to the village of Shevino. The usual route for the villagers has been extended by 20 meters along a forest path after the sanatorium fenced off its territory in accordance with the law. This issue is under control. The applicant received the necessary clarifications during the conversation.

A total of four people came to the reception of the Aide to the President today. For instance, a person with a third-group disability from Orsha applied regarding job search. The options previously offered to the man through the employment center were not suitable for various reasons. However, the search for a suitable vacancy will continue.

A Vitebsk resident's issue concerned the flooding of someone else's apartment in her building. According to her, this happened due to poor quality work during pipe repairs. However, by court decision, she was found guilty. Now the woman has filed an appeal. Anatoly Linevich has instructed local authorities to thoroughly investigate the situation. "It should be clarified whether the person is actually at fault or the servicing organization. I hope that a substantive answer will be given on this issue in the near future," he added.

A resident of Verkhnedvinsk came to defend her daughter's property rights to a land plot, which is planned to be partially seized during the implementation of a bridge reconstruction project. To resolve this issue, Anatoly Linevich instructed to conduct a site visit involving all interested parties, including representatives of the Ministry of Transport.

"Any issue should be resolved within the legal framework, with a focus on the individual, and their problem should be treated as one's own. Therefore, all applications are taken under control, sometimes requiring long-term solutions and the involvement of republican state bodies, in order to ultimately provide the applicant with an answer – positive or negative," stated Anatoly Linevich.
