This year, we are summing up the results of the agricultural sector's work in the regional center. Vitebsk – the heart of the northern region – welcomes the rural workers who have honorably passed the test in the grain fields. The region is the first among the country's regions to fulfill the state order for grain supply.
A quarter of the harvest was formed by the Orsha and Vitebsk districts, and the Vitebsk district managed to achieve a historical maximum: 117 thousand tons of grain were harvested here.
Praise to the hands that smell of bread!
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to all the heroes of the harvest, to those who, in difficult conditions, with their calloused hands, skill, and selfless labor, extract Belarusian gold, which is bread.
The achievements of the agricultural sector are the culmination of the daily strenuous work of the rural workers, processing and service organizations, managers, specialists, scientists, veterans of the agro-industrial complex, and youth.
"Dazhynki" is an important socio-cultural project that instills love and respect for the land and labor, and contributes to the improvement and beautification of our cities. It is important that during the preparation for the holiday, special attention is paid to social facilities. This is a kind of gift for the citizens. We also thank the builders and utility services for their coordinated and effective work.
