Objective: to reduce the number of fires caused by citizens' non-compliance with fire safety regulations in residential buildings and structures, settlements and territories, including rural areas; to increase public awareness of the capabilities of state organizations in providing services in the field of fire safety; to strengthen law and order; to prevent offenses committed by citizens under the influence of alcohol.

Tasks:

1. To inform the public about the state of fire safety, to explain to citizens the consequences of non-compliance with fire safety regulations, leaving children unattended, and alcohol abuse.

2. To assist republican government bodies, local executive and administrative bodies, and other organizations in training citizens in fire safety measures in everyday life and at work; to assist volunteer fire brigades in organizing fire prevention activities.

3. To focus the attention of local executive and administrative bodies on the need for regular and targeted work to ensure fire safety in their respective territories, including improving the fire protection level of homes (apartments) of lonely and single elderly citizens and disabled persons, and large families.
