The Central Election Commission has posted two calendar plans on its website – for the elections to the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus of the seventh convocation. These documents were approved on August 6 at a meeting of the CEC, BELTA reports.

According to the plan of organizational measures for the preparation and conduct of elections to the House of Representatives, the deadline for nominating members to the district election commissions is no later than August 30. Political parties and other republican public associations, work collectives, and citizens can nominate their representatives.

Polling stations for the parliamentary elections in Belarus must be established no later than September 15, and precinct election commissions – no later than October 2. Political parties and other republican public associations, work collectives, and citizens can nominate their representatives to these commissions until September 29.

The nomination of candidates for deputies will take place from September 8 to October 7 inclusive. Registration is scheduled for October 8-17.

Voters will be notified of the time and place of the elections no later than November 6. Within the same period, they must be provided with information about the candidates for deputies running in their constituency. Early voting will be possible from November 12 to November 16. The main voting will take place the following day, November 17.

Reports on the election results for each constituency will be sent to the press no later than the fifth day after the main voting, i.e., by November 22. The list of deputies of the House of Representatives will be published no later than three days from the date of the election results being established.

As for the elections to the Council of the Republic, according to the calendar plan, the nomination of candidates for members of the upper house of parliament will take place from September 9 to October 8. Registration deadlines are from October 9 to October 13. The elections are scheduled for November 7, and their results will be established no later than November 22.
