Commissioning work is currently in progress at boiler houses in the agro-town of Babinichi, Orsha district, Braslav, and Shumilino, where reconstruction of heat sources with the installation of wood-fired boilers was carried out. Inefficient equipment has been replaced at two boiler houses in Orsha and one in Dokshitsy.
Currently, scheduled repairs and replacement of heating networks are continuing, with a predominant use of pre-insulated pipes (50 km replaced, or 77% of the target). The accumulation of local types of fuel is also underway. According to the latest data, the volume of firewood and wood chip reserves amounts to 350 thousand cubic meters (87.4% of the plan), and peat reserves are 8 thousand tons. Boiler houses and mini-CHP plants using local fuels are equipped with platforms and sheds for drying and storing solid fuel. Where necessary, additional storage facilities are being equipped.
During the preparation of the housing stock in the region, approximately 5.8 thousand heating points and heating systems of 6.5 thousand houses were also repaired. Roof repairs covering a total area of 78 thousand square meters (98%) and panel joint repairs extending for 36.9 thousand linear meters (96%) were completed. Preparatory work on water supply and wastewater disposal facilities is ongoing.
