Afterwards, festive events continued in the city park on the picturesque lake shore.
Those who wished could watch a concert in the summer amphitheatre. In addition, exhibitions of decorative and applied arts, works by Lepel artists, as well as military weapons and equipment were open. Children could have a fun time in the playgrounds and on the amusement rides.
On the same day, as part of the Victory Day celebrations, an athletics relay race for prizes from the district newspaper "Lepelski Krai" and the district football championship took place at the stadium. In the evening, residents of Lepel and guests of the city could enjoy themselves on the dance floor and watch a festive fireworks display.
