Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Subbotin positively assesses the activities of integration structures in the Vitebsk region. In an interview with "Belarus Segodnya" Publishing House, he stated that the created structures are full-cycle production associations – from field to consumer, which will allow them to work in a coordinated manner and eliminate unnecessary intermediaries.

In an interview with "Belarus Segodnya" Publishing House, he stated that the created structures are full-cycle production associations – from field to consumer, which will allow them to work in a coordinated manner and eliminate unnecessary intermediaries.

– This increases manageability and efficiency, and the result is a high-quality product competitive in price. Of course, it is too early to talk about the stable production and financial activities of these structures. This can be stated accurately next year. Nevertheless, there are already positive results. In particular, the growth rate of gross agricultural production in the Vitebsk region for January-October 2020 was ensured at the level of 105.4 percent, crop production increased by 11.5 percent, and livestock production by 0.7 percent.

At the same time, according to him, revenue from the sale of agricultural products for the 9 months of the year increased by 13.6 percent compared to the corresponding period in 2019, almost 16 million rubles of profit were received, and the sales profitability was 1.2 percent.

– Financial obligations decreased by 272 million rubles compared to the beginning of the year. We expect these structures to continue to develop effectively, and we do not rule out that this useful experience will also be used in other regions of the country.
