From July 15 to August 31, a month-long campaign to ensure safety during the grain harvesting campaign is being held in the Vitebsk region.

The work on harvesting grain crops is carried out within tight deadlines with maximum involvement of machinery and personnel. An insufficient level of control over compliance with labor protection requirements and work safety, as well as labor discipline, creates prerequisites for occupational injuries.

In practice, cases of managers, specialists, and employees failing to fulfill their established labor protection duties, as well as their non-compliance with technical and technological regulations when operating vehicles, machinery, mechanisms, and equipment, are frequently encountered. Employees often ignore the requirements of labor protection instructions, labor and production discipline, and do not use personal protective equipment.

To achieve the greatest effectiveness of raid activities, visits to agricultural organizations will be organized jointly with state labor inspectors, representatives of state fire supervision bodies, the sanitary-epidemiological service, and other interested parties in ensuring unconditional compliance with legislation in the field of safe labor.

To prevent accidents and eliminate extraordinary emergency situations during the harvesting campaign in the Vitebsk region, fields and plots, agricultural facilities, and sites at all agro-industrial complex enterprises participating in the harvesting campaign will be inspected during raid activities.
