In accordance with the Order of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee dated March 23, 2022, No. 61r, the event "Zero Injury Week" will be held in organisations located within the Lepel district from April 18 to April 24, 2022.

To ensure the safety and health of employees at their workplaces and to prevent occupational injuries, it is necessary to ensure:

- the holding of the "Zero Injury Week" event;

- the safety of employees at their workplaces;

- compliance of equipment and production processes with occupational safety and health requirements;

- provision of employees with personal protective equipment, sanitary facilities, and washing and decontaminating agents;

- training in safe methods and techniques for performing work, conducting briefings, internships, and knowledge testing on occupational safety and health issues;

- organisation of monitoring of working conditions at workplaces, as well as the correct use of personal protective equipment;

- compliance with labour and production discipline by employees, including the prevention of alcohol consumption at workplaces;

- holding of final meetings (gatherings) with the participation of all interested parties and analysis of the effectiveness of the "Zero Injury Week" event in preventing occupational injuries within the organisation.

To ensure the high-quality conduct of the event, the main efforts should be focused on maximising the information dissemination to the organisation's employees (website, information sheets, visual agitation, etc.).

Within the organisation (structural divisions), it is necessary to:

- intensify efforts to create and disseminate social advertising aimed at promoting healthy and safe working conditions (design occupational safety and health corners, stands, memos, etc.);

- conduct events aimed at preventing occupational injuries and occupational diseases in work collectives (seminars, round tables, classes, discussions, etc.);

- organise an inspection of the state of working conditions and occupational safety and health at workplaces (sections, workshops);

- hold meetings with the participation of deputies, heads of structural divisions, chief specialists, representatives of occupational safety and health services, trade unions (public inspectors), at which the state of occupational safety and health will be analysed, and any incidents that have occurred will be reviewed.
