On the events "Zero Injury Week"

In accordance with the Order of the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee dated January 9, 2024, No. 7r, the "Zero Trauma Week" events are being held in organisations located within the territory of Lepel District:

- from March 18 to March 24, 2024;

- from June 17 to June 23, 2024;

- from September 16 to September 22, 2024;

- from December 9 to December 15, 2024.

To ensure the safety and health of employees at their workplaces and to prevent occupational injuries, it is necessary to ensure:

- the holding of the "Zero Trauma Week" event;

- the safety of employees at their workplaces;

- compliance of equipment and production processes with occupational safety requirements;

- provision of personal protective equipment, sanitary facilities, and washing and decontaminating agents to employees;

- training in safe methods and techniques for performing work, conducting briefings, internships, and knowledge checks on occupational safety issues;

- organisation of control over the working conditions at workplaces, as well as over the correct use of personal protective equipment;

- observance of labour and production discipline by employees, including the prevention of drinking alcoholic beverages at workplaces;

- holding of final meetings (assemblies) on the prevention of occupational injuries with the participation of all stakeholders and analysis of the effectiveness of the "Zero Trauma Week" event within the organisation.

To ensure the high-quality conduct of the events, the main efforts should be focused on maximising the information provided to the organisation's employees (website, information sheets, visual agitation, etc.).

Within the organisation (structural divisions), it is necessary to:

- intensify efforts to create and disseminate social advertising aimed at promoting healthy and safe working conditions (design occupational safety corners, stands, memos, etc.);

- conduct events aimed at preventing occupational injuries and occupational

- raising awareness of occupational safety and health issues within work teams (seminars, round tables, classes, discussions, etc.);

- organise inspections of the state of working conditions and occupational safety and health at workplaces (sections, workshops);

- hold meetings with the participation of deputies, heads of structural divisions, chief specialists, representatives of occupational safety and health services, trade unions (public inspectors), to analyse the state of occupational safety and health and review instances of violations of occupational safety and health requirements;

- other measures aimed at promoting and disseminating best practices in occupational safety and health within the organisation.
