The Republican Unitary Enterprise "Information and Publishing Center for Taxes and Duties" (hereinafter referred to as the Enterprise), based on the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus dated 15.11.2021 No. 647/11 "On Amendments to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus dated July 6, 2011 No. 924/16", for the purpose of organizing work on fulfilling the instructions of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties dated 22.07.2022 No. 8-2-11/01686, is conducting information and explanatory work.

The Republican Unitary Enterprise "Information and Publishing Center for Taxes and Duties" (hereinafter referred to as the Enterprise), based on the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus dated 15.11.2021 No. 647/11 "On Amendments to the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus and the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus dated July 6, 2011 No. 924/16", for the purpose of organizing work on fulfilling the instructions of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties dated 22.07.2022 No. 8-2-11/01686, is conducting information and explanatory work among business entities engaged in retail trade of food products, including agricultural products, at fairs and market stalls on connecting cash registers to the cash register control system.

To ensure the acceptance of cash, business entities can use software cash registers or cash summing devices.

The deadline for the obligation to use cash registers for business entities, by Resolution of the Council of Ministers and the National Bank No. 304/12 dated 14.05.2022, was postponed from 18.05.2022 to 31.12.2022. This deadline is sufficient for fulfilling the obligations to use cash registers. Further extension of the deadline for connecting cash registers to the CRCS is not envisaged.

Business entities are strongly advised to start the work on connecting cash registers to the CRCS in advance, without waiting for the specified deadline. In case of applications in December 2022 from all business entities obliged to use cash registers from 01.01.2023, the Enterprise will not be able to ensure the fulfillment of all applications for connecting cash registers, and the connection deadline will be set.

Please note that business entities that purchased and are already using cash registers with a tax authority control module or a software cash register for selling food products at fairs and trading places before May 18, 2022, are not entitled to accept cash without using cash registers (clause 41 of the Regulation approved by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers and the National Bank of July 6, 2011 No. 924/16).
