It should be noted that the personal reception of citizens at the Lepel District Prosecutor's Office is carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Citizens' and Legal Entities' Appeals" and the reception schedule.
In the first half of 2020, prosecutor's office staff received 40 citizens in person, of whom 24 were received by the prosecutor personally.
Prosecutor's office staff received 6 citizens at their places of residence and work.
Compared to the same period in 2019, the number of citizens received in person has significantly decreased, which is due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation. At the same time, it should be noted that the number of written appeals received has increased. In the first half of 2020, the district prosecutor's office received 2 electronic appeals from citizens.
In the first half of 2020, the district prosecutor's office resolved 46 applications and complaints from citizens and legal entities concerning administrative liability, housing legislation, labor legislation, military duty, and the protection of minors' rights.
Regarding supervision of the legality of court decisions in civil cases – 12, including 4 – based on applications for the prosecutor to file lawsuits (applications) in the interests of individuals;
The number of resolved citizen appeals is 30.
Of all the resolved applications, 14 citizen appeals were fully satisfied and recognized as justified, and 4 were partially satisfied.
In the first half of 2020, the district prosecutor's office received 18 appeals from economic entities, of which 16 were resolved, 1 was left without consideration, and 1 was forwarded to other competent authorities.
All appeals from legal entities considered in the first half of the year concerned the filing of lawsuits in general (12) and economic (4) courts. In addition, for 2 appeals, a decision was made to refuse to satisfy the claims due to their lack of justification.
In total, based on the results of considering citizen appeals, 12 acts of prosecutorial supervision were issued by the district prosecutor's office (first half of 2019 – 6).
