Upon arrival of the rescuers at the scene, open burning of the guest house was observed.

The house is wooden, single-story with an attic, equipped with a fire alarm system connected to a receiving and control panel located in the living room (it activated, but did not influence the detection of the fire. The fire was detected by guests).

Ownership: State Nature Protection Institution "Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve." At the time of the fire, there were 8 people in the guest house; they left the building independently before the alarm sounded.

There were no casualties.

As a result of the fire, the roof, ceiling, and walls of the guest house were damaged.

The cause of the fire is being established. The considered versions of the cause of the fire are: 1. Violation of the rules for operating stoves, heat-generating units, and devices. 2. Violation of the rules for operating electrical networks and electrical equipment.
