In January of the current year, employees of the supervision and prevention inspectorate of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations conducted monitoring of SPF "Zaoserye" of Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant OJSC, the "Lepel MCC" branch of Vitebsk Meat Processing Plant OJSC, Healthcare Institution "Lepel Regional Psychiatric Hospital", Healthcare Institution "Lepel Central District Hospital", State Educational Institution "Social-Pedagogical Center of Lepel", Chereyshchina OJSC, KUPSHP "Lepelskoye".
During the work carried out, it was established that violations of fire safety legislation were identified at the facilities, namely "General fire safety requirements for the maintenance and operation of capital structures (buildings, structures), isolated premises and other facilities owned by business entities" approved by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus No. 7 of 23.11.2017 "On the Development of Entrepreneurship".
The monitoring showed that the heads of the above-mentioned facilities need to take a more serious approach to the requirements of technical normative legal acts of the fire safety regulation and standardization system, and to carry out fire safety measures at a higher quality level in order to prevent emergencies at the facility. Following the results of the monitoring conducted, recommendations for the elimination of identified violations were handed over to the heads.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that in accordance with Article 17 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Fire Safety", the heads of organizations must ensure fire safety and the fire safety regime in their respective organizations.
